IAS Itzehoer Airservice GmbH is an air operator approved by the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA). The area of application is diverse and includes passenger and cargo flights throughout Europe. IAS is looking for support in the field of ground operation – as well for young professionals with the appropriate base qualifications.
Your tasks:
- Quotation and order processing for our customers
- Organisation and coordination of flights for our customers
- Compilation of flight planning and filing of ATC flight plans
- Analysis of meteorological conditions for the planned flight routes
- Compilation of crew briefings
- Coordination of airport and ATC slots
- Organisation and coordination of ground handling
- Communication with aviation authorities regarding overflight- and landing permissions
- Flight monitoring and communication with crew and other departments during the flight in an informative and professional manner
- Independent handling of correspondence and documentation
- Organisation of crew rotations
Your profile:
- Completed qualification/apprenticeship in the aera of travel, transportation and/or logistics
- Affinity to aviation, a pilot's license is desirable
- Very good MS Office knowledge including willingness to learn aviation specific software solutions
- Fluent in German and English (written and oral), other language skills are an advantage
- Team player, customer-oriented and communicative personality
- Analytical thinking, reliable understanding of numbers and a high degree of personal responsibility
- Quick grasp
- Assertiveness
- Stress resistance, resilience, and reliability
- Flexibility and willingness to work in shifts (also on weekends, on public holidays and at night)
