IAS Itzehoer Airservice GmbH is an aviation company approved by the German Federal Aviation Authority (LBA). The area of operation is diverse and includes passenger and cargo flights throughout Europe. IAS is growing and is looking for support in the area of flight operations with the appropriate qualifications. The work as a crew member at IAS is diverse and includes a variety of development opportunities. In specialised flight operations, our area of expertise includes Skydiving Operations and Air To Air photo flights. Our operations in the go-now cargo business takes us to a wide variety of European destinations every day. We operate to major international airports as well as smaller regional airports which sum up to 80 to 100 different destinations every year. We are looking for team players who are able to work independ with full responsibility for the execution of flights. High motivation and interest to contribute as well in areas outside of flight duties to support the growth of our young aviation company would be an added value and you will have further opportunity to develop yourself into management positions within IAS in the future.
Wanted: First Officer/Commander
If not already earned, the first step is the training for the CessnaSET (Single Engine Turbine) rating, which can be carried out in our own ATO. This means that the position as First Officer is also suitable for career starters.
The subsequent area of deployment varies and initially includes passenger and cargo flights as a Crew Member FO throughout Europe. After approximately 6 months, the advanced training to Commander on the C208/C208B begins. The final appointment as Commander takes place in each area of operations if the candidate is suitable, first for specialised flight operations and then also for commercial passenger and cargo operations.
Depending on the mission, they are then flown "single-pilot" or as crew. The "home base" is the Itzehoe airfield (EDHF/IZE). A place of residence in the vicinity (call-out time max 1 hr) would be an advantage and enables stand-by times to be spent at the place of residence.
Our requirements:
• EASA CPL(A) or ATPL(A)
• Valid instrument rating
• At least 200+ hours as PIC
• Class rating CessnaSET (can also be obtained from us)
• English fluent in speaking and writing (Level C1 and or language proficiency level 5)
• Passport, unrestricted for the ICAO region EUR
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays on a pro rata basis
advantageous:
• At least 100+ hours IR (at least good IR experience as FO)
• German (Level B2-C1)
• Existing class rating Cessna SET

Not yet a Cessna SET rating?
The flight instructors of our in-house ATO have extensive experience and several thousand flying hours in operational service. Our Cessna Caravan D-FUNK and our Cessna Grand Caravan EX D-FUNC with approved training programme according to EASA.FCL are available as training aircraft and thus we will get you to your class rating within a few days, gladly also with additional training for dropping parachutists.
